Ioanna Gouseti

I currently work in the Department of Sociology at The London School of Economics and Political Science. I convene criminology and social research methods courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My background is in Sociology, Criminology and Social Research Methodology.My current research lies at the intersection of criminology and research methodology. I look at the impact of crime information processing on public attitudes to crime and justice, such as fear of crime, and adopt an integrated methodological approach to the empirical exploration of these topics.My general research interests include risk perception, positive criminology, public criminology, cultural criminology, gender and crime, policing, violent crime, crime control.
