Ioanna Kosenaki

I studied for four years at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and I have a Bachelor’s degree in general nursing. I have been trained in monitoring patients, updating information on vital signs, taking blood samples etc. Before my graduation, I completed my one-semester clinical placement training in Komotini (Greece) and that gave me the opportunity to integrate my theoretical knowledge with practice and the confidence to develop my clinical skills. Working in various departments such as the emergency and pathological department, surgery, perioperative care, and intensive care unit I realized how easily I adapted to each of them, also, I got used to work in stressful and difficult situations and I have learned the importance of being a part of a team, working with respect with my colleagues, and cooperating perfectly with the team.After my training program, I started working as a senior care provider for a person with dementia. I was assisting the resident with the medication, personal hygiene, feeding and giving encouragement for walking and exercising. Doing that job I have learned to be patient, to handle each situation that arises calmly without getting flustered or resentful. I also have experience in working in hospitality and that helped me to develop my communication skills, and my attention to detail and I got used to working under long shifts.I am an enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable person and passionate about clinical activities, and I can cooperate perfectly within a team. Also, I have a caring and compassionate nature and I always want to improve my knowledge and my clinical skills, to provide the highest level of care and the best experience to the customers.
