Irene Sánchez Bodega

I studied Telecom Technical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and then I started working as an intern at Telefonica I + D in the area of emerging Internet services. That's where I was taught what the "user experience" is and I realized that it was what I always had belief, that is, that new technologies should be available to all users and not just for the more "technical" ones. That is why, in 2012 ,I decided to complete my studies with a Masters in user experience and usability. The last 3 years I have been working on trying to give users a better experience with handsets in Telefónica. I would love to continue working on usability because I love it and I think I have a good foundation that combines the technological part that I learnt studying engineering and the knowledge of user experience that I learnt at the master.
