About

I am PhD in Neurobiology and Experimental Therapeutics, with BSc in Chemical Pharmaceutical Biologist; I have over eight years laboratory experience in the fields of immunology and drugs of abuse. During my PhD I was working on the effect of the drugs of abuse on the immune system, specifically in the innate immune response. Using different approaches, like in vivo as in vitro, I demonstrated the molecular mechanisms of how the opioids regulate the release of preformed mediators in mast cells stimulated by PAMPs suggesting a new therapeutic target that helps to decrease immunosuppression evoked by drugs addiction. In my postdoctoral I studied the mechanism of action of new regulators involved in the exocytosis of inflammatory mediators induced by allergic stimulus, with the main goal to aid to understand how this diseases is modulated and therefore to found a best therapeutic target. In recent years I have focused on the study of autoimmune diseases etiopathology, this through molecular and epigenetic approaches. Looking forward to meeting new people and discuss new opportunities, so let’s connect! ►[email protected]
