Throughout working in the hospitality and retail industry, it has taught me: Excellent communication, Teamwork, People skills,Cash handling, Point of Sale, Store opening and closing duties and a high level of customer service. These are all skill in which demonstrate a hard work ethic and willingness to always grow as an individual and as a team. I have learnt the importance of time management, whilst always maintaining a well presentable brand image. Doing Work Experience at BECG in Winchester allowed me to to grow in communications and it showed me how to work in different work environments. Being involved in group discussions and important meetings, expanded my knowledge on public relations and communications services. Whilst also catering to my interests which is marketing and events, tasks I was handed with involved making creative promotional content for the company. This was a responsibility I felt very fortunate to be a part of. Throughout the years I have also done some volunteering such as helping out at a retirement home and doing Sunday teas and coffees at a church. These rewarded me with meeting many interesting people and taught me how to deal with a variety of different personalities and ages.
