I have a master’s and bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense. I worked as an intern in a large steel company in the products development sector, where I worked on many projects of development/fitting of steels for the automotive, home appliance and construction industries, and I had a direct interface with the production and quality area. After that, I was hired as a commercial analyst. However, I worked as a products development specialist indeed. In that context, I took on several projects of development/fitting of many types of steel: hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanized, among others. But, here, the approach was a commercial one instead of technical. I had direct connection with the customer, with the sales and the pricing team and with the supply chain. Business trips, as well as English communication were frequent part of the work routine. In addition, I had the opportunity to work in the after-sales, providing technical assistance to a huge automaker and its autoparts chain, carrying out preventive and corrective visits to attend to complaints and acting strongly with the quality team to investigate the causes of occurence of defects and so minimize them. I am always looking for new knowledge and challenges. For me, 10% depends on talent and 90% depends on hard work.
