In total over thirty year experience of welding, with twenty of these within the aerospace industry has meant that I have extensive knowledge of different welding methods as well as their surrounding processes. In addition to my knowledge about welding processes, my personal strengths are to manage the complete product development chain, from first concept study to serial production from an economical and technical perspective focused on high performance, producibility, final product requirements and standardization. Further, I have highly developed analytical, technical and problem solving skills, motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team. Through my experience in welding, I have established an extensive international network through partnerships and projects with customers, suppliers, universities, standardization organizations as well as various welding institutes.
