Itohan Eromosele

My name is Itohan Eromosele. I am a Fourth-year student at Towson University. I am a Biology major with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Biochemistry (MB3). My long-term goal is to become a physician-scientist, and I would love to achieve my MD/Ph.D. In the nearest future. At Towson University, I participated in research areas investigating different aspects of Bacterial and Bacteriophages' Genetics for four years. During this time, I secured an internship as a Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) fellow and a research internship with the USDA coordinated by the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. I was also part of a selected group of students to participate in the Towson University Research Enhancement Program (TUREP). My participation in TUREP allowed me to present my research at several conferences, such as the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS), the University of Maryland College Park LSAMP Fellows Research Conference, and the Annual Towson University Biology Department Research Symposium. I have experience in multiple industries, including the service, scientific, and healthcare industries. At Towson University, I worked in several customer service positions, including a community center assistant, a student peer mentor, and a social media coordinator. I am currently working as an Independent Student Researcher at Towson University.
