Ivan Mishkin

Software developer working for Amazon Web Services. Couldn't be happier working for such a great company, got blessed with a great manager and team who truly take their time to welcome you to the team and are always open to teach and guide you in the right direction for your career path. Over the last 4 years I have worked on various development projects including Android apps where I learned and utilized different languages such as Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript and now I can add RPG and COBOL to the list. Throughout my projects I have mostly had the position of being the lead developer participating in all aspects of development - system design, frontend and backend development as well as managing other developers throughout the process. I feel like all the projects that I have worked on have played a tremendous role in my success, always stepping up when no one else would, always pushing others to learn new things. I am incredibly proud of working for AWS now, I couldn't have imagined a better outcome after everything I have gone through in these last 4 years.
