Izaak Chung-Graham

I am a forward-thinking student with solution focused mind and a drive to use my diverse experience to apply to challenging and intellectually stimulating projects. I am a second year Business Management student and am looking to graduate in 2024 with the inclusion of a sandwich placement. My passion for problem solving and entrepreneurial tendencies stemmed from an early age! When I was 14, I had a small vegan ice cream venture in which I hired my friends and sell ice cream at events. At the 4th event there was a mix up and we weren’t located in the food hall with all the other vendors and subsequently we started to lose sales. I needed to drive demand to my stall, so I quickly made discount coupons and handed them to people as they came in. This simple move saved the day and sales started to rise. Since then, I knew I wanted to feed this passion and harness my business problem-solving skills. My early experiences have shaped who I am - I am confident, competitive and driven to achieve my goals; I work well independently or as part of a team, and I love finding ways to maximise efficiency and overcome barriers. My studies are providing me with broad knowledge of the world of business, practical knowledge applicable to our current economic environment. Alongside this, I am developing good interpersonal skills in consultation with key stakeholders to ensure projects stay on plan. My interests include economics, psychology, philosophy, business, fitness, sports and cooking.
