Jacob Stergos

Freelance bassist and music teacher with a degree in Jazz Bass Performance from Webster University. I have studied with Willem von Hombracht (jazz bass), Paul DeMarinis (jazz improvisation), Erik Harris from the St. Louis Symphony (classical bass), Daniel Schene (classical piano), and Carolbeth True (jazz piano). I currently teach over 30 private students a week on piano, bass, and guitar at David's Guitar Loft, Midwest Music Conservatory, and out of my home. I have performed in many venues and styles throughout the St. Louis area, with musicians such as Willie Akins, Joe Mancuso, Tom Byrne, and many others. I work with local theatre companies such as the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and New Line Theatre as well, in various musical capacities.
