About
I retired after 27 years of service in the Army. I bring a combination of hands-on and strategic leadership experience in Human Resource Management required for leading and developing talent, incorporating policy, assessing organizational needs, leading change management initiatives, and communicating with senior and executive leadership. I managed several unique circumstances such as: Implementing, monitoring, and reporting to Congress on the training and compliance of the repeal of, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” Managing the difficult and sensitive conversations with family members, media, and interested parties regarding the killing or capturing of a military family member, Protecting classified personnel information for staff assigned to Top Secret missions, and figuring out how to include (but not include) the information in their service records, Briefing internationally-known officials including U.S. Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, three-star and four-star Army Generals, Senior White House Officials, members of Congress, and the President of the United States, But I welcome new opportunities and challenges. I lived up to the Army's values while managing and directing national and global HR matters, organizational development, change management initiatives and other policy and compliance matters in a multi-service, multi-national environment. I’m ready to expand my scope of knowledge and hope to help your organization be all that it can be.
