James Connor

As a transactional attorney, I help clients structure, implement and complete "deals", typically involving real estate. My clients acquire, develop, lease, finance, syndicate, construct and dispose of real estate projects. I have consulted in regard to raw land, hotel, office, mult-family, residential, retail and industrial properties. We assist borrowers in securitized financing transactions, developers in master planned communities and lenders in workout situations. My clients range from institutional entities to speculators. My educational background and experience include tax and accounting, which allows me to recognize and address these issues in addition to the basic transaction. My background experience includes being in-house counsel for a large financial and real estate development/investment institution.
