James Cregeen

From launching then running my own ‘business’ at the age of six to launching and running a bigger one at Edinburgh University I learnt some early lessons in business life. One strong belief is that respect honesty and integrity are the key to any successful partnership. I combine my science degree with a genuine passion for brands and live experiences to match make the two in an analytical, process driven manner. From ensuring the commercial success of Top Gear Live and taste Festivals in Australia to matching surgeon events with Ferrari and a Global surfing property partnering with a blue-chip tool company helping them launch their own surf channel. Happy to be in the trenches, conscious of saving money and making money, I bring energy and persistence to any team, genuinely wanting to help events succeed. My approach to long term partnerships is a balance of the right investment but the key is offering a better experience by some creative thinking and hard work before any deal is done. Likewise, I genuinely listen to what brands stand for and want to achieve ensuring their exact needs and objectives are met with any partnership I help them get involved in. I am known for slightly ‘outside the box’ partnerships and although being a self-confessed sensitive introvert, prepared to say what is required to reduce wasting time and money and actually see the results of combined labour as quickly as possible. Where possible I try to work in my areas of passion include excellence, helping save our planet, the ocean, all things nature, mental health and model aviation.
