James Lewis

James has in-depth experience working in Transaction Management. Most recently his portfolio includes rent reduction and buy-out programs for national brands, saving over $2.8 Million dollars from top performing Companies. He specializes in Tenant Representation, New Market Development, Site Selection, Renewal Management and participates in other various Real Estate initiatives. Quite notably, he is responsible for managing Real Estate Portfolios for six Clients that average over 3 Million square feet. James also leads the Real Estate program for a Franchise occupier of over 700 locations worldwide, listed in the top 40 Global Franchises to own, several of which his contributions have increased their total square footage to just over 1 Million. His passion for negotiating rental decreases has opened several doors in the developmental strategies of the Companies to which he serves. His reputation precedes him as having a no holds barred approach and quick wit in getting deals completed, quite fondly referred to as the “Judge Judy of Real Estate.” James was very fluid during COVID-19 and continues to be a vital resource for servicing Clients' needs. He has partnered with top Brokers in restructuring Landlord’s Leases and negotiated terms with past due rents, deferments and abatements, averaging a savings of $50k per location combined with long term renewals. He has led multifaceted clients in the industrial, retail, and office sectors. Additionally, James has successfully integrated services to his client’s growing portfolios through high level acquisition support and planning. As volunteering and giving back to the Community is a vital influence in James’ career, he currently serves as the Education Lead for the local UNITY Chapter of Cushman & Wakefield, an organization responsible for promoting equality using various methods of communication to drive change; specifically, creating an inclusive, diverse workplace where everyone is truly valued.
