Manage the activities of the Frontend Processing Unit of a shared services facility, providing operations support for multiple clients. Responsible for all activities related to the receipt of program mail, including claim forms, prior approval forms, provider/beneficiary enrollment forms, beneficiary coordination of benefits surveys and all program related correspondence. Paper processing activities include classification and sorting of all forms, screening of forms for required information, pre process rejection of documents failing screening criteria and return to submitter, assignment of batch numbers and manual indexes including the application of date of receipt, scanning/image creation of all documents for input to automated forms processing software (Transform), transmission of images to the designated backend image repository (FileNet), maintainance of an off-site claim storage area including all records management activities and research and reprocessing of outgoing correspondence returned as undeliverable. Individual duties are as follows: • Prepare operations budgets for staffing and other direct costs • Coordinate equipment and software maintenance agreements with vendors • Coordinate staff efforts to ensure adherence to all contract performance standards. • Monitor quantity and quality of production both an individual and group basis. • Perform administrative duties including employee performance reviews, timekeeping, expense reporting, supply requisitioning and inventory control. • Oversee training and cross-training of staff. • Update procedure manuals, reference materials, and other related items as necessary. • Maintain the inventory of operational supplies and materials • Support new business opportunities including proposal development and creation of solution/staffing models • Provide project management for imaging/data capture design, develop and implementation activities
