About
I attended Rochester Institute of Technology in the Fall of 2012 to pursue a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. In the Fall of 2013, I began my first Internship at Marquardt Switches located in Cazenovia, NY. This co-op was based around their Research and Development sector in which I spent a lot of time validating hardware and software they produced. I received another opportunity to co-op in the fall of 2014 at General Electric (GE) Lighting. At GE I spent a lot of time programming programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and working with AutoCad to perform different tasks in their manufacturing facility. After the completion of a final co-op with the New York Power Authority in the summer of 2015 performing work in their supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) operations department and concluding my last semester of college in 2016, I was hired as a full time employee of Eaton Corporation. During my time at Eaton Corporation I was a field service engineer and partook in testing, retrofitting, and the implementation of a lot different equipment. I led a few jobs in the process, which involved putting in breakers and testing relays. Though Eaton was a great company to be a part of, I moved on from that job to pursue an opportunity with the Federal Government. Starting in the Spring of 2018, I have been assigned to the Division of Reliability Standards and Security at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and have been tasked with overseeing many of the regulatory actions that the North American Electric Reliability Corporation is implementing or altering.
