Under my leadership as the tax reporting director at Google for over six years, we achieved a +3x increase in work throughput with the application of lean processing techniques, advanced technology, and upskilling the entire team to function as one high-performance unit. I’ve also had the honor of participating in several FASB industry outreach reviews of proposed tax accounting pronouncements to express the interests of Google and the tax reporting community.One of our major achievements was the implementation of weekly forecast updates of Google's effective tax rate.
