I am an experienced offshore HV cable jointer, qualified up to 33KV. I have worked on numerous windfarms, including SANDBANK in Denmark, BALTIC 2 WINDFARM in the Baltic Sea, BELWIND WINDFARM in Belgium, GLOBAL TECH 1 WINDFARM in Denmark, BORKUM WEST II WINDFARM in the North Sea, Germany and the LONDON ARRAY WINDFARM off the South East Coast Before this I was a highly skilled joiner with 27 years experience and a director/company owner for 9 years. I am an excellent team leader, after having my own business. I trained 2 school leavers as apprentice joiners through to fully qualified tradesmen. They both obtained NVQ level 3 in wood occupation. I found this extremely rewarding, knowing I had passed on my knowledge and expertise. I also designed ‘camping cabins/garden offices’. This was a unique design by myself and a business partner, which gave me great delight in building and seeing the finished product. One of our designs was purchased by the National Trust and is proudly the centre of attention at Brockhole Visitors Centre, Windermere. This was officially opened by the Queen.
