Offered Admin roles 6 months into College (started Bachelor of Business) completed various roles - Admin, Payrolls (Wages & Staff), Roster Manager for 24 hour shift and Accounts Payable then had opportunity to get into Sales (Oils, Additives and Warranty's for the Mechanical industry). Rep for 5 years then purchased Formula Oils in 1999 and continued until 2004 when opportunity arose to be Assistant Manager on 240 Cow Farm (following 3 years of relief milking). Continued to learn farming lifestyle and assisted to increase farm to 320 cows rearing 120 heifers each of last 3 years. Farm was in top 5% Quality for last 2 years (DA Awards). After 7 years had choice to lease farm but after discussing with wife (who was just commencing her own career) decided to pursue other avenue (wanted to stay in Dairy if possible). Lucky enough to get a role as Field Officer for Longwarry Food Park. Small Private Milk Processor in Gippsland and after 10 months took over as Milk Supply Manager. Major roles were managing supply base including Milk recruitment, Milk Quality, Transport, Milk Payments system (MADCAP) and customer service to Farmers. Also managed All intake into factory and any 3rd party raw ingredients sales (milk, cream, csm) assisting with writing contracts and overseeing that it is followed. Parmalat purchase LFP in Feb 2015 and have reduced 3rd party sales and Milk Pay roles and increased on farm role to be more hands on to assist Farmers. Strengths - good with numbers, good listener and communicator, honest and feel those that I work with trust me - willing to adapt and passionate about doing my role to the best of my ability. Love sports - coached Junior & Senior Cricket, as well as Executive for many years in local AFL and Cricket. Would love to bring my enjoyment of type of work role I have with sport in the future (managing type role)
