Janet Cullum

I am a member of Cooley's Litigation group and currently practice out of our New York office. My practice is devoted to counseling and litigation in the area of intellectual property, focusing primarily on trademark, copyright, advertising and domain name matters. I serve on Cooley's Compensation Committee and am the co-chair of the Cooley's Marketing Committee. Previously, I was Chair of the Firm's Litigation Department and prior to that headed the Trademark, Advertising & Copyright practice group and the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. Specialties: I have represented many companies at the forefront of doing business on the Internet and have substantial background in issues confronting those businesses including domain name disputes, scraping and trespass matters, privacy, secondary liability in copyright and trademark, linking and framing, the Communications Decency Act, DMCA, and ECPA. .
