Jarna Heinonen

I am a Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Turku, School of Economics. In the field of entrepreneurship research my research interests include particularly corporate entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, company growth, family businesses and small businesses. I have conducted research e.g. For the European Commission, the OECD, and different national ministries and other such bodies. I have worked in numerous national and international research and development projects aiming at promoting entrepreneurial activities within different kinds of private and public organizations with a mission to support the organization to become more entrepreneurial and agile. I hold numerous positions of trust in scientific community as well as in business and society. Currently I am a Member of the Board of OP Co-Operative (OP osuuskunta, Vice-Chair). I am also the Chair of the EMBA Programme Committee in the Turku School of Economics. I am continuously willing to learn more and looking for new challenges both in academia and business. My hobbies include jogging, tennis and sailing with my family in the archipelago.
