The B.O.S.S. (Building Outstanding Successful Scholars) Youth Program, established in 2014, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and guidance to at-risk youth between the ages of 9-17. Most of whom reside in communities with high rates of crime, teen pregnancy, bullying, substance abuse, and a substantial amount of adolescent drop outs. The B.O.S.S. founders; Jarvis Jackson Jr., Albert Jones and Brian Swinney, all natives of New Orleans, shared the same desire, to improve the lives of young people in their community. Together with a team of dedicated volunteers throughout Dallas-Ft Worth and Louisiana, the B.O.S.S. program has set out to empower youth to fulfill their potential through mentoring, tutoring, life skill development, collegiate information; as well as summer activities and a variety of manyother programs.
