Jasmine Palardy

Community-builder and city-builder who brings creators of all stripes together to share and build — with a focus on more collaborative cities and communities. Jasmine has spent a career working with creative and technology communities to build programs and spaces that accelerate innovation. Jasmine was on the startup team of one of the world's first community crowdsourcing and crowdfunding platforms, which led to her engaging in a research project with Harvard Business School. Following that, Jasmine identified and coached start-ups from around the globe in telling their stories to Bay Area investors. With work experience in Calgary, Vancouver and San Francisco, Jasmine launched GROW (Canada’s first major Silicon Valley-connected startup tech conference), was the founding director of Beakerhead — a five-day engineering and arts festival in Calgary, Canada — and has created community engagement programs for urban districts and innovation studios, including the initial project vision for Platform Calgary, and most recently, the activation strategy for SAIT's new School for Advanced Digital Technology.
