Jason Acevedo

At Safeguard, Jason works with our healthcare and technology deal teams, supervising legal processes around deploying capital into new and existing partner companies. In addition, Jason assists our partner companies in a variety of areas including employment, executive compensation, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property and debt financing. Prior to joining Safeguard, Jason was an associate in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office of Morgan Lewis &a; Bockius LLP, where his practice focused on representing emerging businesses and other high-growth private and public companies throughout every stage of their lifecycle, in many cases acting as their general outside counsel. Jason also represented seed and venture capital investors, private equity investors, institutional investors, and strategic investors in investment and portfolio company transactions. His practice also concentrated on a variety of complex transactional matters, including private offerings of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate partnering, joint venture, and other strategic transactions. Jason started his career as a trading analyst in New York with Salomon Smith Barney.
