I worked my way to Senior QA, then on to development work eventually reaching a position as a Senior Remedy Developer. I then moved to the primary system that the remedy instance communicated with - Tivoli Omnibus Netcool. Netcool is the Fault Management system responsible for receiving, processing and aggregating alarms from the network devices in the field. Identifying and dispatching technicians automatically for repairs. ∗ Worked with Quality Assurance Team, Development, Project Management, and Customers to maintain accurate level of effort and timeline for all phases of the product(s) life cycle ∗ Maintain project timelines for development, testing and deployment ∗ Business Object Universe reporting environment to match deliverables ∗ Code review pre/post installations in production environment ∗ User and Application testing (UCT/UAT/ORT) in production with customers and test when necessary ∗ Create, Modify and Maintain Service Level Agreements between customer and development teams ∗ Create and Maintain Visio diagrams of system and update when implementation changes required ∗ Prepare executive presentations on system health and status ∗ Maintained a 24/7/365 On-call Support schedule for the team Both application teams were 3-7 people, so i wore many hats. Project Manager, Business Analyst, QA Tester, Release Manager, Customer Liaison, Tier3 Helpdesk (on call), Trainer etc. I learned them all.
