Jason Lastovica

As a proud resident of central Iowa, I am fortunate to serve as a project manager for important transportation infrastructure projects with Iowa DOT and local municipalities. For 12 years prior, while in Dallas, Texas, I was able to gain experience through the design of dozens of roadway and bridge projects throughout Texas. To this day I still get the opportunity to help our teams in Texas, and other locations in the central United States, deliver projects, though my passion and primary responsibilities are to serve clients in my home State of Iowa. Since transitioning my career to Iowa almost seven years ago I've had the opportunity to work on multiple street, highway, and Interstate projects that improve the communities in which my friends and family reside. I truly enjoy working on a wide range of roadway improvement projects. I love the challenging complexities of large highway and freeway projects and appreciate the detail and intricacies of smaller, urban street projects. Over the course of my career I've been fortunate to partner with Iowa DOT, City of Ankeny, City of Johnston, TxDOT, North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), and various other cities and counties in Iowa and Texas to deliver important transportation infrastructure projects. I've been involved in nearly every aspect of project development including preparation of planning level schematics and concepts, environmental documentation and public involvement support, and final design culminating in detailed Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E). I've also had experience in providing professional construction phase services and in alternative delivery methods as a major contributor in the design phase of a design-build project.
