Jason Romer

I am a partner of the firm and a member of the Strategy Board. I am also Collas Crill's Group Managing Partner. Formerly the Managing Partner of the Guernsey office, my family and I relocated to Jersey in 2019. I have been a partner of the firm since 2007 and a member of the Board since 2008. I qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2007. As a lawyer, I have a broad corporate and commercial experience with a particular emphasis on intellectual property, utility regulation, e-commerce, e-gaming and IT. In my role as Group Managing Partner of the firm, I am heavily involved in, and focused on, driving the strategy of the firm forwards. Key projects include the merger process for the integration between Jersey and Guernsey, which saw the formation of Collas Crill in 2011. This was then followed by the addition of the Cayman practice in 2015 and the BVI practice in 2017. I am passionate about continuing to grow the business and retaining the culture and focus on excellence in client service on which we pride ourselves. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, I was Director, Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Cable & Wireless in Guernsey from 2003 to 2005. Prior to moving to Guernsey, I worked at Linklaters in London where I also completed my training contract.
