I have worked on and around the water for my entire working career. Working in the outdoors and in a team environment is a passion which translates into optimum performance in the workplace. I have been employed in various different roles that have led to working in different working environments and have never experienced any trouble in adjusting and fitting in to my role or building strong working relationships with my peers while achieving maximum results. Delivering outstanding customer service is of utmost importance in my role as a General Purpose Hand, as well as engaging and interacting on personal and professional levels with all of our passengers and those who make inquiries about our ferry service. I have recently started working as an Engineer at Sydney Ferries and have thoroughly enjoyed the transition into the role after working on deck for the previous 9 years. Roles include routine vessel maintenance, safety procedures, routine watch keeping and other engineering aspects.
