Served over a decade in public service as Senior Policy Advisor & Finance Director in Congress, U.S. House of Representatives, Washington, D.C. Expertise in implementing public policy and funding for education, mental health, minority programs, energy and water and workforce development. Serves on the Mayor’s Hispanic American Advisory Board (Chair 2019) & is Chair the Committee on Eduction and the Workforce. Co-Founder of the non-profit, Ladies America & Ladies International. With the expansion to nine city networks, the mission grew to empower professional women & men through leadership workforce training programs. Family is from South Florida, and originally from Bogotá, Colombia. Proud to be a first generation born American attributing successes to a cultured international education that spanned across several countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
