Experienced Theatre Director with an English degree focused in Renaissance Theatre from Manchester University. Currently directing KILLING THE CAT, a radical new musical at Riverside Studios (17 March - 22 April 2023) in a co-production with my company Mercurius Theatre and S&S Theatre Productions. I have Directed and Produced 18 five-star reviewed, sell-out productions for Mercurius Theatre Ltd which have gained 8 OffWestEnd (Offie) nominations, including 3 for Best Director. Alongside, I am a freelance Director at various venues such as Shakespeare's Globe, National Theatre Studio, Jermyn Street Theatre etc. I am Michael Blakemore's Associate Director (since 2003) on productions in the West End, National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney. I am also a director and teacher at several London accredited Drama Schools. In addition I am a mentor for TheYouthGroup and part of BurnBright’s TimeBank and Executive Producer on Black and White Duppy by young British Jamaican writer/director Tom Blackman, a surreal coming of age horror film ‘exploring the impact of colonialism on immigrant family histories’.
