Jerome was managing director of the UK’s largest animé distributor, Manga Entertainment Ltd between 2018-2021, where he started as a junior marketeer in January 2005. Manga Entertainment is now part of Crunchyroll, Llc, a Sony company. Jerome has worked in anime licensing, content acquisitions, sales, marketing and distribution for over 17 years where he brought series and films such as NARUTO, Dragon Ball Z, Attack On Titan, Akira and Ghost in the Shell to British and Irish audiences. Jerome was the lead executive producer on CANNON BUSTERS, the Netflix Original series created, produced and directed by LeSean Thomas and Satelite Studio Japan. He was also the global sales, marketing and distribution manager for the 2017 Japanese Academy Awards and Annecy Animation Film Festival winning feature film, In This Corner of the World. Jerome spends his time these days as an Anime Ronin, wandering the English countryside with his loyal feline companion, Smokey-Bacon. He is a sword-for-hire, working with some of the leading anime licensing and animation production and distribution businesses across EMEA and APAC regions.
