Jesse E. Williams, Jr.

Mr. Williams has held numerous executive level positions in both state and local government as well as in the private sector. Throughout his career Mr. Williams spearheaded systems reforms which resulted in the expansion of community-based services, the establishment of services to female offenders, reduced institutional populations, and enhanced institutional performance through accreditation by nationally recognized accrediting organizations.He is a founding member and was the second President of the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators. Since its founding in 1994 this organization has played a key role in developing executive level juvenile corrections leaders with the goal of supporting them in leading and sustaining positive systems reforms in their respective jurisdictions. Mr. Williams is a U.S. Department of Justice Certified PREA Auditor. He is also a consultant with The Moss Group, a Washington DC-based criminal justice consulting firm.Mr. Williams has been recognized for his hard work and effective leadership via many awards and citations from sources such as the California State Senate and the California Assembly, Mayors Wilson Goode and Ed Rendell of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Family Court.
