About

Fun fact: I've proudly lived in 5 Canadian provinces to date! Working to build a decarbonized future that makes life better for all of us. My experience has centered on energy efficiency programs and policies, transportation electrification, energy equity and utility regulation. I am passionate about building communities that are sustainable and supportive, and I know the value of breaking down silos to develop solutions that have people at their core. I am dedicated to pushing for innovative public policy and regulatory frameworks that can get us to a low-carbon future. I founded the democratic engagement organization Young Voters of PEI, and am a Director of Springtide, a NGO that is leading the Charter Challenge for Fair Voting. I use my extensive knowledge of government institutions and environmental sustainability to deliver pragmatic, mission-focused solutions to the real world problems of climate change, housing affordability and civic engagement. My community leadership has earned me a place in some of Canada's pre-eminent leadership and policy forums, including the Banff Forum, the On Deck Climate Tech Fellowship and Samara Canada's Everyday Political Citizen Forum. I have shared thoughts on many of the above topics in awesome Canadian publications, including Huffington Post, CBC Power and Politics, The Guardian and The Coast. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Prince Edward Island.
