Jessica Baschuk

I am highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy operating within a team environment. I have worked with children and adults with various disabilities or disadvantages and love to make a difference and contribute to a meaningful organization. I first studied Developmental Services to provide the foundational skills and knowledge needed to make a difference to people’s lives through working in community based homes to support children and adults with physical or developmental disabilities. This enabled them to become as independent and empowered as possible. I assisted them with their communication and day to day activities, and helped them achieve their potential in employment and education. This qualification provided knowledge in the areas of personal support, human relations, the sociology of the family, and communication. I continued my studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology to obtain a deeper understanding of people and their needs. I acquired a comprehensive professional skill set needed to make a more profound difference in people’s lives. My MBA and mgmt. Experience has developed my skills in team leadership and engagement, staff development and training, and optimizing productivity and efficiency. It gave me the computer skills and business knowledge allowing me to excel in a variety of environments.
