Jessica Cowin

I have a Master's degree in Health Communication; Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship,with a minor in Sales and Leadership from DePaul. I found my passion as a patient advocate. I am dedicated student and lifelong learner. This program has only increased her knowledge and passion to help patients and caregivers navigate the healthcare system, fight for patient rights, and teach the importance of communication between all team members involved in a patient's care, as well as understand how important both intra/interpersonal communication. In undergrad, my sister and I started a chocolate company, "The Chocolate Rx". My first book, "The Hearts of a Girl" was published in 2016. What I learned from writing was that you need to trust in the process. Writing takes time and patience.
