Jessica Kroenert

I am a mission-driven and dedicated professional skilled at cross-cultural communication, project management, and detail-oriented research. My professional focuses include the environment, human rights, justice, and empowerment, and I leverage my expertise to support programs that address human health and climate change in the U.S. And globally. I am pursuing a Master of Public Policy with a focus in Environmental Policy to strengthen my analytical and quantitative skills, and my knowledge of policy and programs in the hopes of dedicating my career to addressing the existential threat of climate change. My professional and academic experiences have allowed me to understand the social importance of education and access to information, informing my desire to work on effectively communicating scientific and policy information to diverse audiences, from governments to the general public. My experience working with communities in West Africa and Latin America informs my understanding of how grassroots women's and youth empowerment, education, and democracy are foundational to high-level institutional and government approaches to any issue, and my goal is to use my career to contribute to bridging this gap.
