I'm never happier than when solving problems, making opportunities out of challenges, and kicking the status quo of "that's how we've always done things" to the curb. As a former participant and a volunteer in the worldwide creative problem solving competition, Odyssey of the Mind, I have applied unique solutions to unusual problems for most of my life. Problem solving is in my blood and, if you can't tell from my photo, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! In my career I have: • Managed the operational roll out and market migration to a new, in development, operating platform • Created an ops training, migration, and launch program for global market ops transition to a new enterprise system • Developed supply chain and logistics networks throughout the US, Canada and Mexico for a mining company with 7 production sites supplying frac sand to the oil and gas industry • Expanded contracted rail fleet by 300% in 2 years to support business growth and expansion while also increasing average rail car capacity for more efficient and cost effective movement • Improved condition and quality of a vehicle car sharing fleet resulting in additional member demand generating 25% fleet growth in 12 months and 46% in 18 months • Optimized spend and vendor management generating a 15% cost reduction under budget in 6 months and 20+% in 1 year • Reduced offline vehicles by 1.3% YoY from 6.5% to 5.2% through an enhanced vehicle maintenance program • Supported 60+ remote field team members with both day to day execution and strategic planning With 15 years of general business and management experience, with 10+ years in Supply Chain/Operations functions, I love finding ways to improve performance and results.
