Jindra McIntosh

Jindra began dancing at age 9 training in ballet, tap and jazz. At University she began practicing the art of Middle Eastern Bellydance specializing in Modern Oriental Style. For three years she performed in Los Angeles as a principal dancer and choreographer with many regional dance companies, taking a short break in 2001 to dance with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in three of their Broadway-style proctuions. In 2005 The International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance (IAMED) released her first Bellydance workout video named "The Art of Bellydance-Get fit with Jindra." From 2003 to 2008, Jindra toured with the Broadway Production of Disney's "The Lion King", moved to New York, began teaching "SharQui™-The Bellydance Workout" while still continuing to audition and perform on Broadway. She relocated to Las Vegas, NV where she expanded her fitness methodology by getting certified in two additional dance fitness formats: "Jukari Fit-to-Flex" and "Boogie Box Fitness." She currently resides in Santa Fe, NM where she works with NDI New Mexico teaching children excellence in Dance!
