Jo’s professional work spans performance, choreography, teaching, curriculum development, rehearsal directing and mentoring for a wide range of companies, artists, festivals, theatres and educational institutes both in the UK and Europe. Jo has had the pleasure of training and performing with a range of companies and artists including, Dance 2xs UK, Avant Garde Dance Company, Kerry Nicholls, Tom Dale, Susan Sentler, Aya theatre, The mostly everything people, Tomos Young Dance Company, Redtape Dance Company, Theo Lowe, Ella Mesma Dance Company, Vocab/ Alesandra Seutin and Keneish Dance. Jo teaches and mentors for dance companies, colleges and schools Nationwide. Jo has also acted as Rehearsal Director for Ella Mesma Dance Company and International Choreographer Alesandra Seutin. Jo's experience has enabled her performance, choreographic and teaching work to cross over many forms of movement styles. Choreographic work has spanned numerous theatres and festivals Nationally and Internationally such as Royal Festival Hall, London, Sadlers Wells, Queens Theatre Hornchurch,Stratford Circus, Bernie Grants Arts Centre, London Bridge Live Festival, Electric Theatre Guidlford, London City Hall, Texas Tech University USA and Manoel Teatre Notte Biance Festival, Malta. Jo is the founder and Artistic Director of Havering Dance Festival.
