BACKGROUND JoAnne's diverse experience brings together insights from global corporations as well as from remote communities in impoverished areas of the world. Before founding SWIM upstream she was responsible for management training at Digital. Previous roles included Sociology professor, Humanitarian Project Management for the Canadian Development Agency, NGO’s and several UN organizations. WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP JoAnne has always dedicated passion and energy to women’s leadership and empowerment and she is active as a speaker and in professional women’s associations across Europe. She is past president of the Career Women’s Forum in Geneva, an Associate of DIAFORA, gender and diversity consulting and has served on the Advisory Board of W.I.N., the Women’s International Network Conference.
