Joanna Kopko

I have enjoyed enriching the lives of children since 2005 when I began working with children with emotional and developmental delays in New York. In 2006, I moved to Massachusetts to pursue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders. During this time, I began working with preschool age children with autism and this is where my love for preschool curriculum flourished. I believe that later success in life is dependent on skills gained in these early preschool years. I then became a certified director through the commonwealth of Massachusetts and began the journey to create and open my own preschool program called The School For Early Excellence. I proudly opened the school in September 2011 and have increased our enrollment from 2 children to 30 children in just 12 short months. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with the children and families of The School for Early Excellence. I believe strong and lasting relationships with the school’s children and families are the cornerstone of the school’s foundation. I am looking forward to watching the school environment continually evolve with the knowledge and dedication of the staff and the energy and creativity of the children who come to school each day!
