Joe Leighton

A highly motivated, apprentice trained Lead Mechanical Technician/ Team Leader with over 12years’ experience in the industry. Currently working as part of the fast action response team, my role is to respond quickly and safely to plant breakdowns, and fault find and repair any issues efficiently, to regain plant production. I also cover the team leader role and my responsibilities include: decision making, communicating with shift co-ordinators and managers, risk assessments, safety issues, permits, shift hand over, and computer feedback. I am eager to learn new skills and training, and continually strive to better myself, to progress in my career.
