John Allan Bailey

John Bailey was born in Dallas, Texas, where he developed a passion for commercial real estate at an early age. In 2004, while studying business at Northwood University, Mr. Bailey joined Options Real Estate, where he represented investors and tenants on a portfolio of over five million square feet of retail, office, land and industrial properties. Mr. Bailey went on to join Mohr Partners, a global corporate real estate advisory firm, where he provided corporate real estate portfolio transaction services for clients around the world. In 2008, during the worst recession since the Great Depression, Mr. Bailey saw an opportunity to provide value to investors and operators and decided to found The Allan Bailey Group, LLC as President and CEO.In early 2020, Mr. Bailey partnered with Former NBA Player and Head Coach, Avery Johnson and Co-founded Avery Capital, LLC https://averycapitalre.com/ and The Allan Bailey Johnson Group, LLC, https://allanbaileyjohnson.com/ Mr. Bailey Serves as Co-founder and COO of Avery Capital and Co-founder and CEO of The Allan Bailey Johnson Group.Mr. Bailey has represented tenants and investors for over 18 years across the United States. He has also completed lease transactions on behalf of the GSA for agencies including the FDA, ATF, DEA, SSA, & more. In 2021 Mr. Bailey purchased two mission critical single-tenant GSA assets on behalf of Avery Capital totaling $21.7 million.Mr. Bailey studied business at Northwood University and Babson College. Mr. Bailey is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), as well as a Licensed Realtor and member of the National Federal Development Association, the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Southern Sector Task Force, the Greater Dallas Planning Council’s Innovative Communities Task Force, and The Real Estate Council (TREC).
