John Azoro

John Christian Azoro is a Senior associate in the Assurance practice of SGV & Co. (SGV)/Ernst & Young Philippines. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, at ICCT Colleges Inc.- Cainta. He has more than Five (5) years of in-depth experience in the audit of various entities including Asset management, Trading, Education, Non-for-profit organizations, Hotel and leisure and currently focusing on Mining and Metal industry. He was able to handle accounts which are within the group of an entity listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange. He was exposed in a group audit and audit with the involvement of other service lines. He has superior analytical skills and can execute high quality deliverables. His primary responsibilities as an associate include direct participation in the performance of audit procedures, as appropriate, and preparation of relevant work papers. He Performs detailed field work and communicates to other members of the engagement team, as appropriate, matters that warrant the attention of others in the engagement team. He has an experience leading newly hired associates and has applied basic coaching practices. He has attended various seminars and trainings for continuous improvement.
