About
My studio undertakes the design and manufacture of new commissions, the conservation and restoration of historic stained glass in ecclesiastical buildings, historic secular buildings and private collections. Due to our expertise and experience throughout the past forty years and our on-going improvement and development programme the studio has worked throughout the U.K. And abroad. Clients include the National Trust, English Heritage, The Crown Estate, The Churches Conservation Trust, The Council for the Care of Churches, Church of England and Roman Catholic Diocese, Museums and Private Collections. My team of experienced craftsmen and I undertake all work within the studio at Deal and on site. Our team deals with each project from the initial report, recording, and removal from site, studio conservation and reinstatement. All work undertaken is fully documented and recorded for future reference. We ensure clients including Church Parish Council Fabric Committees, Diocesan Architects and private clients are kept fully informed and advised on all stages of work on the glass in our care. As projects progress, we welcome clients and architects to visit our studio to view the work in progress. We provide detailed Condition Reports for Architects, Museums and private collections where advice and expertise is required for the care of glass of all historic periods. Conservation and restoration projects undertaken at the studio are executed to the highest standards as set out by the international Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi (CVMA) and the Church Buildings Council.
