John Hall

I have spent the majority of my working life in retail banking with Barclays Bank where I worked in many different roles which included managing a number of branches. I also worked in the sports & gaming industry at Sporting Index, where I was a Business Development Manager helping to grow the organisation. Now thoroughly enjoying life in the Events Industry heading up and organising Retail Financial Services events bringing together senior executives involved in setting strategy across distribution; client services; product design and marketing. Companies represented are the high street banks - including the so called challenger banks - and the building societies; and the brands from both the high street and on line; the third element of the audience are the membership organisations. I also manage some of our other biggest events including A Meeting of Minds Asset Management, A Meeting of Minds Advisory Distributors, Mindful of Investing in Retirement and Mindful of Technology in Financial Services. All attended by CEO, COO, CFO and other extremely senior figures to which I have close exposure. Additionally I organise bespoke events for individual clients. In my spare time, alongside bringing up three young boys, I coach Weybridge Vandals U10 cricket team as well as playing whenever I can. A huge West Ham fan I attend games as much as possible and have had a lifetime of mainly frustration! Other interests include golf, horse racing, American football and going to the pub whenever permitted....
