John Lasersohn

John Lasersohn has been with Dell and SonicWALL since May 1999. He’s worked for 10 years on customer escalations for the UTM / NGFW product lines. His subject matter expertise has been in Core Functionality, VPN, CFS, SSLVPN, NetExtender, and Global VPN Client issues. John’s worked with Dev and QA teams on the releases of dozens of versions of SonicOS and processed thousands of incoming bug reports, vulnerability claims and enhancement requests. He’s written several hundred bug reports, most on behalf of affected customers, and have both replicated known issues and verified the fixes for them. He’s also coached, mentored and trained partners, customers, Technical Support Engineers, Escalation Engineers, and System Engineers, on internet, application and security concepts, best practices, configuration methods, expected results, and more.
