John Martin

Proprietor of John Martin Estates since he opened its doors in October 1995 and with over 37 years' experience in the real estate industry, John is well established and respected in his local community. He brings his natural business and entrepreneurial skills to his Chairmanship of Pitshanger Village Traders Association and successfully led the campaign which saw #PitshangerLane crowned London's Best High Street in the Great British High Street Awards 2015/6. A passionate advocate for the High Street and recognised for his skills with his appointment as a judge in the Great British High Street Awards 2018 & 2019, John generously provides advice to other high streets and traders associations. He is also now Chair of the newly established Ealing High Streets Taskforce, joining with other stakeholders and Council officers, to guide the borough and its high street businesses through the challenges of Coronavirus. A keen and successful sportsman in his younger years, John now enjoys triathlons as respite from both his business life and his many community activities, as well as enjoying London life and travelling the world with wife and business partner, Rhian.
