John R. Torvik, CPA-retired, is retired from full-time work as a CFO with over 10 years of experience as a CFO, over 10 years of experience as a consultant, 6 years of experience as a Controller, 18 years of experience preparing individual tax returns, and over 30 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. He continues to prepare individual tax returns part-time. He was a contract CFO to several non-profit organizations and has many years of experience in the areas of finance, accounting, internal controls, strategic budgeting, risk management, insurance, and legal matters. Previously, he was the CFO for a $30 million non-profit organization. Early in his career, he worked as an auditor for the then-largest CPA firm in the world. He is a person of integrity, excellence, principled leadership and has a great work ethic.
